The Right Pair of Sunglasses For Me

This weekend I plan to go out with my friends because I wanted to buy a pair of new sunglasses since the one and only sunglasses I have just broke into two. But one thing that always bothered me when selecting sunglasses, is how to pick out the best frames. Which sunglasses and frames should I get?  Have I been wearing the right frames for my face all these while? Well, finding the right pair of sunglasses is not an easy task. When I asked my friend about it, and she says that..

"smaller sunglasses are best for smaller faces; larger sunglasses for larger faces"

What do you think? Do you think that these frames are suitable for my face?

  

I've been googling all day I found this article "The best shaped sunglasses for your face" from eyesave.com. According to the article, to determine the best sunglasses for our faces, we need to Determine our face shape. My face is actually an inverted triangle face and the best frame for me is a frame that balances my face and broadens the lower part of my face. Low temples and rimless style of sunglasses are a good style to consider.  I can't wait to go get it this weekend and once I bought it , I will show it to you guys!

Paddling with The Paddlerz

It was my first ever white water rafting experience and I just fell in love with it! I love the feeling of sheer excitement of careening along a churning mass of white foam or the thrill of being tossed in a ranging rapid.

The rafting is located at Kg. Ulu Slim, Slim River. The guides that we went with was The Paddlerz or better known as The Khersonese Expedition Crew. It was 15 of us and we took the one day rafting package which include rafting equipments, experienced river guides, group first aid kit, on-river snacks and buffet lunch. 

After the detail briefing on safety and procedures, I was all set and ready for the dramatic water rafting experience at Slim River white water rafting where the rapids are from grade 1 to grade 3.

Despite the raft getting stuck, going down a grade 2 - 3 waterfall, getting stuck in a rapid whirlpool, falling off the raft and even an overturn experience, I would definitely do it again because it was an awesome and adventurous getaway which should not be missed!

Masta I Pasta by Nik Michael Imran ( Master Chef Malaysia )

Have you guys heard of Masta Pasta? How bout Nik Michael Imran from Master Chef Malaysia 2011? Ha, I bet you do! Anyway, I went with a few friends of mine to his pasta stall at Charlie's Restaurant, Cyberjaya yesterday which is called Masta Pasta. We've tried on different pastas and I got to say that it made my tummy smile wide :). The amazing thing was that you can see him cooking the dishes for you! You guys should really go tthere and try the delicious pastas out! The price is reasonable too.

Masta Pasta is open from 6:00pm - 12:00am. Other than enjoying the food there, you can also smoke shisha there. The place is really cozy and it is absolutely a nice place to hang out with your friends and family.

54th Annual Grammy Award: The Good News & The Bad News

The Good News:

Congratulations Adele! and she is with lovely custom

three-quarter sleeved black sequin gown by Armani.

Adele triumphed at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards for winning SIX Grammys. She won every category in which she was nominated including album of the year for "21" and the best record with "Rolling In the Deep." I really love all of her songs and I'm even addicted to her beautiful meaningful song  "Someone Like You".

Let's Ooh-and-Aah at the 54th Grammy Award Fashion Picks:

Paris Hilton wore a Basil Soda gown to the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. One word: GORGEOUS!

Kathy Perry went in a more glamourous direction by choosing this lovely Elie Saab gown.

Gaga was spotted wearing this black fishnet ensemble complete with a gold accents and a matching sceper  by Versace.

Nicki Minaj showed up on the red carpet in this oversized red hooded cape and brought along a man dressed as the pope for good measure.

Rihanna absolutely killed it last night in this sleek custom-made Armani gown.

Taylor Swift's gown is stunning.

 

The Bad News:

Before the 54th Grammy Award, we had heard about the unexpected death of the six-time Grammy award winner Whitney Houston, who had passed away on Saturday evening and as for her tribute, Jennifer Hudson performed "I Will Always Love You" at the Grammys. She said singing the song was the "greatest honor of my life."

Looking Fabulous on LOVE-DAY!

We all know that Valentine's Day is celebrated all over the world to express the priceless beautiful meaning of "LOVE". Whether we plan on dining at  fancy-romantic restaurant with the partner, or plan to hit the malls with the girlfriends or have a fun day out with the family, consider buying something that can be worn to any of these three dates and not something that is only suitable for one of the dates and consider dressing festively for the occasion without seeming too cheesy! This is definitely the perfect time for me to go out, spend some money and buy new dresses!

Look BRIGHT yet SUBTLE is my mantra for this Valentine's Day.

Floral Dress:

Bright floral prints not only make you look more lively but also more fresh and feminine. A floral dress can be worn for lunch, brunch or movie with the loved ones. Accessorize the look with some matching jewelry, hair band, bracelets and belts. Do not wear everything at the same time but few of these will surely work wonders.

Short skirt:

A short skirt is perfect for evening coffee. Compliment and complete the look of a multicolored skirt with a plain colored top or either ways.

Maxi Dress:

Chic and timeless, maxi dress will take you anywhere from the malls to a dinner date. The key to wearing the long frocks is to layer and accessorize with a scarf or jacket or belt or hat to own the look. 

Monochrome Color Codes

If you are planning to express your unexpressed feelings then you can go for monochrome color codes for this Valentine's Day. I will explain what these four color means; pink, blue, black and red.

Pink:

Pink colored dress signifies that you are already in love but feelings are yet to be expressed.

Blue:

Blue colored dress indicates that you are single and ready to mingle.

Black:

Black dress means that you are not interested in love.

Red:

Red is the color of love. It means that you are truly deeply and madly in love.

So for this Valentine's Day, go play with these four colors to show what is your current status. The most important thing is to wear what makes you feel comfortable, sexy and confident whether you chose to wear a skirt or a dress or even a nice pair of jeans.
